Partnerships and Community Collaborations
Pattern Energy
Pattern Energy operates a global portfolio of high-performing energy facilities in its effort to transition the world to using renewable energy. Pattern has partnered with Art FORM in our shared mission of promoting sustainability and working with local communities.
The San Diego River Park Foundation
We are always on the look-out for patterns in nature, and with the San Diego River only a couple of miles from us, we like to inspire others to honor and protect this precious resource and animal habitat. We proudly participate in Kids River Discovery Days, and River Days, and look forward to creating new ways for students and community to discover this jewel in our backyard.
San Diego Gas & Electric
For over 10 years, Art FORM and SDG&E have partnered through the Environmental Champions Initiative, bringing great support to our “Magnifying Climate Change” workshops, where students learn about big and complex ideas through creative reuse.

The County of San Diego Board of Supervisors
Thanks to the County of San Diego Board of Supervisors, Art FORM can continue its mission during these times when outreach education is more challenging than ever. With help from the County, we can deliver more activity kits to local students to engage their skills and stay sharp during distance learning and class zoom sessions.
The Faile Foundation
The Faile Foundation selected Art FORM as a candidate for operational capacity building and support of environmental education programming through a 3-year cycle of funding. We are grateful for all of support, including board strengthening sessions and development strategies.
UCSD Urban Studies and Planning Department
Partnering with Urban Studies & Planning class USP 177 and AABA, we aligned forces to engage the community in alley revitalization projects, such as the Mariposa Alley in February 2020, and in 2018-2019 for Alleys in Action, located nearby in Normal Heights. This process allows students of all ages and citizens to learn more about placemaking, and how alley space/discarded items can be regarded in new ways. Art FORM helps to facilitate this intersection of art, reuse, and community engagement. The Alleys in Action project was awarded 2019 Academic Award of Merit by the American Planning Association California Chapter.
Adams Avenue Business Association
The Adams Avenue Business Association (AABA) is a non-profit that works to revitalize and market the Adams Avenue business corridor. AABA partners with and includes Art FORM in special events, community planning, and the improvement of the neighborhood’s economic and physical conditions.
