Inspirational materials for art, creativity, science, and maker hobbies can be gathered at Art FORM! When you source materials at Art FORM, or through donating materials, you are supporting creative experiences for local elementary school students, teachers and community engagement. Art and craft supplies are eco-friendly, affordable and accessible.
Art FORM is dedicated to helping promote arts instruction and environmental awareness in San Diego. A surplus of materials exists for arts instruction and other projects, but organizing, sorting, and making available this surplus and highlighting its potential reuse is a primary goal. Art instruction with the creative reuse of these materials makes this a unique and vital program for San Diego schools and the community.
Inspiring ingenuity through creative reuse, and diverting materials from the landfill makes a win-win for San Diego. Mindful individuals, local businesses, industries, and partners donate clean, reusable materials. We then sort, organize and display items for the community to access for for a low-cost donation. These materials can inspire art, problem-solving, and be effective in STEM/STEAM activities. We regularly provide free materials through our workshops with San Diego’s Mid-City public schools and students and beyond with the community, and through partnerships.
