Art FORM is excited to offer creative reuse materials and project ideas MOST SATURDAYS from 10am-2pm. IN JULY, WE WILL BE CLOSED ON JULY 1ST, 8TH, AND 15TH FOR REORGANIZING THE SPACE AND SUMMER WORKSHOPS. IF YOU HAVE A DONATION, YOU CAN EMAIL US FOR AN APPOINTMENT. Teachers, students, families, artists and the community can shop for clean, reusable scrap materials for a low-cost donation. Select from a treasure trove of clean scrap materials such as fabric, paper, plastic, foam sheets, design samples, textures, various doo-dads, and well, the list could go on forever!
Most items in the store are considered “mixed materials” and can be purchased for a low-cost donation of $1, $2, $5 or $10. Some items are free based on quantity available and where materials will be used. Public school teachers in the city of San Diego working at eligible Title I schools or in under served communities may receive additional discounts.
In addition to making creative reuse available on a weekly basis, Art FORM will also be accepting approved donations every Saturday from 10am-2pm.(IN JULY, WE ARE CLOSED ON 7/1, 7/8, AND 7/15. OPEN ON 7/22.) With a regular donation day, the community has a chance to donate items, with volunteers on hand to sort and display, allowing the donations to be put to use right away! Individual citizens, local business, and corporations are encouraged to donate. For more information about donations, see our wish list. DURING JULY, PLEASE EMAIL US FOR A DONATION APPOINTMENT.
The possibilities are endless with creative re-use! It is an art form just to process and display all the goodies….come by to check out our progress, donate some items you no longer need OR get some great items for projects!
In addition to a wide variety of recycled materials, we also have a mixture of new and gently used art supplies. When you shop at the Art FORM store, you help save materials from going into the landfill, and you help a local arts education nonprofit operate its programs, as Art FORM store donations go directly to our school and community workshops.
